“Full Circle: The Birth, Death & Rebirth of Circle of Dust”

An untold Story

Amos Lassen

The documentary “Full Circle” gives us the untold story of the essential, genre-defying ‘90s industrial project Circle of Dust. It explores the early career of visionary artist, composer, musician and producer Klayton, who later was recognized for a category transcending project “Celldweller.” The film consists of over 30 interviews and dozens of hours of VHS footage from Klayton’s personal archive.

There are never-before-released videos & stories on the history of Circle of Dust. We journey back to Circle of Dust’s inception, the signing of Klayton’s first record deal, building a live band, subsequent legal battles and eventual dissolution of Circle of Dust in 1998, to the formation and independent success of Celldweller. The story ultimately comes full circle, with the resurrection of Circle of Dust in 2015.

Circle of Dust was Klayton’s experimental industrial/metal project from Klayton and this documentary is a comprehensive document of one of the music world’s most exciting and aggressively creative entities. “Full Circle” is also available in a two-DVD set with bonus features including four hours of additional footage, VHS bootlegs, and music videos, as well as mini-documentaries of the band’s gear and production and of the Argyle Park side project.
